Our passion for fishing goes back several decades, before Capt Zane was even born. The Andrews family owned and operated the world famous Tropic Star Lodge for over 40 years. Zane had the privilege to grow up and start his fishing career at the worlds premier fishing destination, and the number one fishing lodge on the planet. In 2018, Zane went on to run several different private sportfish programs in the US and Panama. And in 2023 we decided to get back to fishing charters and helping others get their chance at some world class Panama fishing. Capt Zane is also a certified IGFA (International Gamefish Association) captain.
We offer a wide variety of trips and packages, anything from day trips out of Panama City, to week long fishing expeditions in Piñas bay or to Coiba Island. We can spend a few days in the beautiful Perlas Islands, and enjoy some snorkeling around its pristine waters. Or throw some poppers at the huge volcanic islands and catch an assortment of inshore species. All you have to do is arrive to the boats, we’ll handle the rest.
We can customize almost all aspects of the trip to our clients needs. Island hopping, snorkeling, beach picnics, fishing, and Whale watching are all activities that can be enjoyed with us.
We are one of the few charter companies in Panama that benefits from our very own private fleet of vessels, giving many options to our experiences. Depending on destination and length of stay, we have the option to be completely self sufficient by joining with our Mothership, Cheers. We can also modify all of our trips to meet your needs.
